Atlas Nexus is a free, open platform for exploring relationships between the organizations and institutions that shape public life. It has no paywall, no premium tier, and no advertising. The only monetization on the site is a single donation page.

Why

Structural relationships between organizations — who owns what, who funds whom, who sits on whose board, which body oversees which authority — are part of the public record, but they are rarely assembled in one place in a form anyone can browse, cite, and interrogate.

Scope

Phase 1 focuses on organizations and institutions. Later phases may introduce a limited set of public officeholders where they are essential to making an institutional relationship legible. Atlas Nexus is not a personal-data project and does not track private individuals.

Independence

The project is supported by small donations from readers. It is not affiliated with any political party, government, or commercial publisher.
